MEET THE TEAM
Samantha Swaim
Samantha's love for Arabian horses began at just five years old. As a child, whenever someone asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, her answer was always the same – a riding instructor. That dream took its first steps in 2007 when she got her first horse, an Arabian gelding named Chapter Three, affectionately known as Chappie.

Chappie became the heart of her equestrian journey, guiding Samantha’s growth as a rider and horsewoman. In 2019, she brought her lifelong dream to life by opening her own riding program, where she began teaching children and adults the fundamentals of horsemanship, building their confidence, and inspiring a deep love for the equestrian arts. Though Chappie passed unexpectedly in 2023, his spirit continues to shape her path forward. Today, Chapter One Riding Academy stands as a vibrant tribute to his legacy—dedicated to carrying forward his influence by teaching riders of all ages, fostering confidence, and encouraging a lifelong passion for the equestrian arts.
